The system rewards both reliable picks and bold round-specific bets. Base points are easy to understand, while bonus rules help separate a good result from a truly outstanding performance.

Roster and budget

  • Бонус за победу чёрными: +2.
  • Upset bonus: if a player beats a higher-rated opponent, they get an extra bonus based on the rating gap.
  • Every 50 rating points of difference are worth an additional +1 point.
  • Maximum upset bonus: +6.
  • Example: a win over an opponent rated 140 points higher gives +2 bonus points. If the gap is 320 points, the bonus is still capped at +6.

Bonus points

These bonuses are already part of the current scoring system and make the fantasy game more interesting across the full tournament.

  • Quick win: +3 for a win before move 30.
  • Long squeeze: +2 for a win in a long game of 80+ plies.
  • Marathon draw: +2 за ничью в партии от 120 полуходов.
  • Queenless win: +2 for a win after an early queen trade.
  • Preparation 10: +1 if the first 10 own moves are played almost without pauses.
  • Preparation 15: +2 if the first 15 own moves are played almost without pauses.
  • Preparation 20: +4 if the first 20 own moves are played almost without pauses.
  • Time scramble survival: +3 for a positive result after severe clock pressure.
  • Advantage conversion: +3 for converting a large advantage.
  • Comeback win: +4 for a win after being worse during the game.
  • Fortress save: +2 for drawing from a difficult position.
  • Clean game: +2 if the player got through the game without a major positional collapse.

How points are counted
After a round ends, the system updates player results, assigns base points, and adds all active bonuses. The leaderboard updates as soon as the round is recalculated.
